I. Product Overview
The 2BV series water ring vacuum pump is a type of liquid ring vacuum equipment. It adopts a coaxial direct connection integrated design of the motor and pump, and is a new generation of energy-saving vacuum products. It can simultaneously achieve both vacuum suction and low-pressure compression functions. The equipment creates a sealed water ring through the rotation of the impeller to achieve gas suction, compression and discharge. During operation, there is no friction or sparks, the structure is compact and occupies a small space, installation and maintenance are simple, and it has core advantages such as corrosion resistance, strong explosion-proof performance, and stable operation.
This product can directly extract clean air, water vapor and a small amount of non-corrosive dust gas. It can operate independently without the need for a pre-stage pump. The maximum vacuum can reach -0.097 MPa. It is widely applicable to conventional vacuum conditions in industries such as chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, food, papermaking, metallurgy, environmental protection, vacuum filtration, vacuum drying, and material transportation. It can fully replace the traditional SK, 2SK, and WL series of old vacuum equipment and is suitable for special operation scenarios such as continuous operation, explosion-proof, and corrosion resistance.
II. Core Basic Parameters
Vacuum pumping rate: 0.45–8.3 m³/min (27–498 m³/h). Test standard: Atmospheric pressure 101325 Pa, inlet water temperature 15℃, inlet air temperature 20℃, humidity 70%. Performance deviation ≤ ±10%
2. Maximum vacuum level: ≤ -0.097 MPa (33 mbar/3300 Pa). When using oil ring working fluid, the maximum vacuum level can be increased to ≤ 6.7 Pa.
3. Working pressure range: From atmospheric pressure to absolute vacuum. When used as a compressor, the maximum exhaust pressure can reach 0.26 MPa (absolute pressure).
4. Speed range: 970–2880 r/min. It is available in both high-speed direct-drive type and low-speed heavy-load type, suitable for different power and operating conditions.
5. Motor type: Standardly equipped with Y2 series three-phase asynchronous motors, with protection ratings of IP54/IP55. Customizable options include explosion-proof, variable-frequency, and high-temperature-resistant models.
6. Working fluid: Typically uses clean water. The water consumption rate is 2 - 20 L/min. For corrosive working conditions, it can be adapted to use special coolant. The standard configuration includes an interface for cavitation protection tube.
7. Noise level: 62–74 dB(A). Low operating vibration. No additional shock-absorbing base required.
8. Working environment temperature: -10℃ to 45℃, environmental humidity ≤ 85%RH (no condensation)
9. Sealing configuration: Standardly equipped with imported mechanical seals. Optional fluororubber or polytetrafluoroethylene seals are also available to prevent leakage and ensure long service life.
III. Structural and Material Parameters
• Pump body / Pump cover: Made of conventional material HT200 gray cast iron, with high strength and good resistance to deformation; Corrosion-resistant models are available in SUS304, SUS316, and SUS316L stainless steel.
• Impeller: Standard model is made of aluminum bronze material, which is highly durable, resistant to wear and corrosion. The stainless steel model is suitable for high-precision and highly corrosive working conditions.
• Pump shaft: Standard 45# quenched and tempered steel. For corrosion-resistant models, 2Cr13, 0Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti stainless steel is used, providing strong load-bearing capacity.
• Bearings: Standardly equipped with imported NSK/NTN bearings, these bearings offer high rotational accuracy and low failure rate, thereby extending the overall lifespan of the machine.
• Structural Design: Coaxial direct connection without coupling, compact in size, no need for alignment during installation, flexible exhaust port design, no over-compression, optimal efficiency
• Lubrication method: Bearing grease lubrication. No additional oil circuit system is required. The maintenance process is simple and there is no risk of oil contamination.
IV. Interface Specification Parameters
Inhalation/Ejection Interface: The small model adopts G1" and G1 1/2" threaded interfaces, while the large model uses DN50, DN65, and DN80 standard flange working fluid interfaces. Water inlet: Standard configuration includes G3/4" water inlet and G3/8" drainage outlet. The pipeline connection is convenient. Flange standard: RF convex surface national standard flange. Customizable vacuum-specific interfaces such as KF and ISO-K can be provided as needed. Installation direction is flexible and adjustable.

VI. Applicable Conditions and Customized Services
1. Pneumatic extraction medium: Air, steam, non-corrosive inert gases. It is allowed to contain trace amounts of non-viscous dust. It is strictly prohibited to extract flammable, explosive, highly corrosive and media containing viscous particles. The full stainless steel series materials can extract a small amount of corrosive gases.
2. Intake medium temperature: Normal ≤ 40℃, High-temperature resistant customized model ≤ 80℃, Recommended working fluid temperature ≤ 25℃, Ensuring vacuum performance
3. Core application scenarios: Vacuum filtration, vacuum drying, material transportation, papermaking dehydration, chemical distillation, pharmaceutical filtration, food preservation, environmental sewage treatment, etc.

VII. Operating Precautions
Before starting, it is necessary to check the liquid level of the working fluid in the pump to ensure that it meets the standard. It is strictly prohibited to run the pump without any liquid to avoid dry grinding and damage to the impeller and pump body.
When operating under extreme vacuum conditions for a long time, the cavitation protection tube should be activated to eliminate the cavitation noise and protect the internal components of the pump body.
During operation, continuously monitor the flow rate of the working fluid, the temperature rise of the pump and the current of the motor. Strictly prohibit operation beyond the current limit and temperature limit. Regularly replace the cooling water.
After winter shutdown, it is necessary to drain the water accumulated in the pump and the pipelines to prevent the pump body and pipelines from freezing and cracking; for long-term shutdown, the impeller should be rotated regularly to prevent it from getting stuck.
Regularly inspect the condition of the mechanical seals and bearings, promptly replace the aged sealing components and deteriorated lubricating grease, and eliminate any leaks and abnormal noises.
