I. Product Overview
The 2BE series water ring vacuum pumps are high-power and high-flow industrial-grade liquid ring vacuum equipment. They are divided into two major series: the 2BEA conventional type and the 2BEC large-scale heavy-duty type. They are mainly characterized by high pumping speed and long-term continuous operation, suitable for large-scale industrial vacuum operation scenarios. The equipment adopts a double-acting structure design, with symmetrical arrangement of the impellers. It has low vibration and high efficiency during operation. Compared with traditional single-acting water ring pumps, the pumping efficiency is improved by 15%-20%, with lower energy consumption, and it also has dual functions of vacuum suction and low-pressure compression.
This product can operate independently without being paired with a pre-stage pump. It can remove air, water vapor and trace non-corrosive dust gases. The operation is spark-free and has strong explosion-proof performance. It is widely used in large-flow, high-load vacuum conditions such as coal mine gas extraction, chemical vacuum distillation, paper dehydrating, metallurgical degassing, building material vacuum molding, environmental protection sewage treatment, and material transportation. It is the preferred product for replacing old-style large-scale vacuum equipment like SK, 2SK, and WL. It can be adapted to special modification requirements such as explosion-proof, anti-corrosion, closed-loop water-saving, etc. By changing the material of the flow components, it can extract some corrosive gases.
II. Core Basic Parameters
Air extraction rate: 210 – 30960 m³/h (3.5 – 516 m³/min). Test standard: Atmospheric pressure 101325 Pa, inlet water temperature 15℃, inlet air temperature 20℃. Performance deviation ≤ ±8%
2. Maximum Vacuum Degree: Under normal conditions, it is ≤ -0.098 MPa (33 mbar/3300 Pa). For the large 2BEC series, the maximum vacuum is ≤ 160 mbar, suitable for high-flow, low-vacuum, heavy-load working conditions.
3. Working pressure range: From atmospheric pressure to absolute vacuum. When used as a compressor, the maximum exhaust pressure can reach 0.2 MPa (absolute pressure).
4. Transmission method: There are two types of transmission: direct drive and belt drive. The direct drive has a rotational speed ranging from 970 to 1450 rpm. The belt drive can be adjusted as needed and is suitable for different flow and power requirements.
5. Motor Type: Standardly equipped with Y series three-phase asynchronous motors, with protection ratings of IP54/IP55. High-power models are compatible with high-voltage motors. Customizable options include Ex d IIB T4 explosion-proof models and variable-frequency speed control models.
6. Working fluid: Typically uses clean water. The water consumption is 10–120 L/min. For corrosive working conditions, it can be adapted to use special coolant. The standard configuration includes cavitation protection and closed-loop interface.
7. Noise Index: 70–82 dB(A). Heavy-duty models are equipped with shock-absorbing bases, which further reduce operational vibration and noise.
8. Working environment temperature: -10℃ to 45℃, environmental humidity ≤ 85%RH (no condensation), and a freezing protection and insulation device can be provided in winter.
9. Sealing configuration: Standardly equipped with mechanical seals. For corrosion-resistant models, fluororubber and polytetrafluoroethylene seals are used. The sealing performance is stable, ensuring no leakage of the medium.
III. Structural and Material Parameters
• Pump body / Pump cover: Made of conventional material HT250 high-strength gray cast iron, with excellent rigidity and resistance to deformation and impact; For chemical corrosion protection, SUS304 and SUS316L stainless steel can be selected for integral casting.
• Impeller: The 2BEA series uses high-quality carbon steel impellers, while the 2BEC large series uses alloy reinforced impellers. These impellers have undergone dynamic balance correction, ensuring smooth operation and excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
• Pump shaft: 45 grade quenched and tempered steel / alloy structural steel, precision processed, with strong load-bearing capacity, suitable for long-term heavy-load continuous operation
• Bearings: Standardly equipped with imported heavy-duty bearings from SKF/NSK. These bearings can handle large loads, have a long service life, and reduce equipment failure rates.
• Structural Design: Double-acting symmetrical structure, no unilateral force application, flexible exhaust valve design, reducing over-compression loss and improving operational efficiency; The pump body is equipped with an inspection port, facilitating maintenance.
• Lubrication method: Bearing grease lubrication, gear box forced lubrication (for belt-driven models). No need for complex oil circuit system, and low maintenance cost.
IV. Interface Specification Parameters
Inhalation/Ejection Interfaces: The 2BEA series uses standard flanges of DN80, DN100, DN125, DN150, and DN200; the 2BEC large series uses super-large diameter flanges of DN250, DN300, DN350, and DN400.
Work fluid interface: Standard configuration includes G1" – G2" water inlet and G1" water outlet. For high-flow models, a dedicated circulation fluid pipeline interface is provided, suitable for high water consumption conditions.
European standard: RF convex surface standard flange, can be customized according to customer's requirements to meet the needs of chemical industry standards or American standard ANSI flange. The installation direction is flexible and adjustable, suitable for the on-site pipeline layout.

Pulmonaryizable medium: Air, steam, non-corrosive inert gases. It is allowed to contain trace amounts of non-viscous dust. It is strictly prohibited to extract flammable, explosive, strongly corrosive, or media containing viscous particles or hard particles.

VII. Operating Precautions
Before starting, it is necessary to check the liquid level of the working fluid in the pump to ensure that it meets the standard. It is strictly prohibited to run the pump without any liquid to avoid dry grinding of the impeller and pump body, which could cause irreversible damage.
Before starting the high-flow and heavy-load model, the front-stage exhaust valve should be turned on first to reduce the starting load and prevent the motor from overloading and burning out.
During operation, continuously monitor the flow rate of the working fluid, the temperature rise of the pump, the current of the motor and the temperature of the bearings. Strictly prohibit continuous operation with excessive current, excessive temperature or overload. Regularly replace the circulating cooling water.
When operating under extreme vacuum conditions for a long time, the cavitation protection tube must be activated to eliminate the cavitation noise and vibration, and to protect the internal components of the pump body.
After the winter shutdown, it is essential to drain all the water from the pump body, pipelines and the circulating water tank to prevent the pump body, pipelines and sealing components from freezing and cracking. For long-term shutdowns, the impeller should be rotated regularly to avoid it from getting stuck.
Regularly inspect the condition of the mechanical seals, bearings and lubricating grease. Replace the aged sealing components and deteriorated lubricating grease in a timely manner. Clean the impurities and dirt inside the pump regularly to prevent leakage, abnormal sounds and malfunctions.
